The City of El Paso and Eco El Paso receive the Texas A&M Forest Service Forestry Grant

The Texas A&M Forestry Service recently awarded our partners, Eco El Paso and City of El Paso, with $20,000 in funding to plant trees throughout the Segundo Barrio as part of the City of El Paso’s tree planting strategy. The trees from the grant will be used for park and street tree plantings, neighborhood tree giveaways, and establishing tree canopy throughout the Segundo Barrio with plans to weave the Paso del Norte Trail alignment to connect existing and new spaces in the future.
